Nintendo has officially announced that the Super Mario Galaxy movie will be released in April 2026, accompanied by the first teaser trailer.

Nintendo commenced today’s September 2025 Nintendo Direct by announcing that Illumination has returned to develop a new Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is titled The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
